Our Team

The Diagnostics, Medical Imaging and Laboratory teams brings years of experience, compassion, and knowledge to provide outstanding patient care.

Our trained radiologists have clinical skill in general radiology, and some have advanced specialty training through fellowship programs. Our team collaborates with other subspecialties and physicians to ensure that we are providing the most comprehensive and highest-standard of care.

The registered technologists are certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, and work under the supervision of the radiologists. Technologists are licensed medical professionals who perform diagnostic imaging examinations. They are educated in anatomy, patient-positioning techniques, and equipment protocols.

Our Diagnostic and Medical Imaging Team

Medical Radiologist - Radiologists are medical doctors or doctors of osteopathic medicine who specialize in diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries using medical imaging techniques such as X-rays, Computed Tomography (CT), MRI Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Positron Emission Tomography (PET), and Ultrasound. Since radiologists do not offer treatment themselves, they consult with physicians, surgeons, and other medical professionals to discuss their test results to develop plans for treatment. Technologists operate the imaging technology, and radiologists interpret the results.

Interventional Radiologists – Board-certified physicians who specialize in minimally-invasive, targeted treatments, and use advanced medical imaging technology to offer non-invasive options to surgery.

Radiologic Technologists – Specially-trained medical professionals who perform medical imaging examinations.

Our Laboratory Team

Pathologists - Responsible for medical direction throughout the lab, and specialize in examining surgical and specimens.

Clinical lab scientists and technicians - Process a great majority of the tests.

Specimen processors – Collect and submit various types of blood and/or urine samples for processing.

Phlebotomists – Trained professionals who collect blood for analysis by a clinical laboratory.

Cytotechnologists - Perform the initial evaluation of Pap smears and non-gynecologic specimens.

Histotechnologists - Prepare the tissues for pathologists to examine.

Laboratory Service Associates (phlebotomists) – Take specimen collection from patients.

Support Staff - Manage the laboratory computer systems and perform clerical functions.
