Patient and Visitor Comments and Complaints/Grievances

>Miami Valley Hospital (MVH) has a strong commitment to the resolution of complaints. We welcome your comments, complaints, and suggestions regarding our care or service. Patients, families, and visitors are encouraged to share their concerns with the nurse, nurse manager, or supervisor responsible for their or a loved one’s care. You can also receive assistance from the Department of Consumer Relations Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. at extension 2666 (208-2666) or by contacting the Administrative Officer on evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Patients have the right to file a grievance for any situation that remains a continuing source of dissatisfaction. Please contact the Department of Consumer Relations at extension 2666 (208-2666) for more information on the specific nature of this process. 

Taking Your Complaint to the Next Level

Patients also have the right to file a complaint with the Joint Commission or the Ohio Department of Health, regardless of whether you choose to first use MVH’s complaint or grievance process.
