What is Morbid Obesity?

Obesity is a serious chronic disease that builds slowly over a period of time. “Morbid” means causing illness or disease. Calculate your body mass index (BMI) right now with our BMI calculator by entering your height, current weight, and gender. If your BMI is over 35, you may be a candidate for weight loss surgery.
