Premier Health Partners Names LaChance Director, Campus Planning and Real Estate

DAYTON, Ohio, September 10, 2007 – Premier Health Partners today announced the appointment of Emile “Buddy” LaChance as director of Campus Planning and Real Estate.

In this newly created position, LaChance will manage the development and use of properties across the Premier Health Partners system, which spans seven counties across southwestern Ohio.  He joined the organization Sept. 5.

LaChance was previously director of neighborhood development for CityWide Development Corporation, a Dayton-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to create and implement strategies addressing the city of Dayton’s needs for economic growth and viable, attractive neighborhoods. 

“Both in his professional accomplishments and in his record of community service, Buddy LaChance has demonstrated an exceptional record of achievement and results,” said Eloise Broner, vice president, Strategic Sourcing, for Premier Health Partners.  “We are looking forward to the application of his skills to further improve the properties through which we serve our communities.”

During his 13-year tenure with CityWide, LaChance managed community revitalization efforts and single site projects that included the Genesis and Phoenix projects in the Miami Valley Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital neighborhoods respectively. 

The Genesis project, a partnership of Miami Valley Hospital, the University of Dayton and the city of Dayton, helped revitalize the Fairgrounds neighborhood and the Rubicon business district surrounding Miami Valley Hospital.  The Phoenix project, a collaboration of Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton Public Schools and the city of Dayton, encompasses housing and business retention programs to benefit the Good Samaritan Hospital neighborhood.

Earlier in his career, LaChance was employed as a project architect by Reed Doran Associates and Lorenz and
