Premier Health Partners Launches New Visual Identity

New look reflects sense of family uniting member hospitals and affiliates

DAYTON , Ohio , April 20, 2007 –Premier Health Partners has adopted a new visual identity intended to highlight the connections and strengths existing among its member hospitals and affiliates.

The new identity gives Premier members their first common signature since the system’s founding in 1995.

Premier Health Partners is comprised of Miami Valley, Good Samaritan and Middletown Regional hospitals; Fidelity Health Care; Maria Joseph Care Center; Premier HealthNet physicians; and Premier Community Health (formerly the Cancer Prevention Institute).

While the new visual identity replaces the existing signatures for Premier’s hospitals, it doesn’t supersede their unique character and history.

The basis of the new symbol is a double letter “P” set into a design showing the connections and continuity among Premier’s member organizations. It represents, across the entire Premier system, a commitment to support patients, their families and physicians.

Before the end of 2007, Premier plans to complete two advanced facilities to better meet community requirements for healthcare.

The Miami Valley South Health Center, located in Centerville, is expected to be complete in October. It will offer a variety of services including a 24-hour emergency department, outpatient surgery services, imaging services, a breast center, cardiac diagnostics, laboratory services and a five-story medical office building for family practice and specialty physicians.  The 100-acre campus is located at Interstate 675 and Wilmington Pike.

The Atrium Medical Center, located on Premier Health Campus – Middletown in Warren County, is expected to be complete in December. It is located approximately a quarter mile east of Interstate 75 at the Route 122/Middletown exit. Its 190-acre campus will expand the scope and sophistication of services Premier currently offers through the existing Middletown Regional Hospital.

Premier Health Campus – Middletown facilities will offer specialized services, advanced technologies and enhanced convenience. They include Dayton Children’s Specialty Care Center, a cancer center, a behavioral health pavilion, Ann and Arthur W. Bidwell Surgery Center (outpatient surgery), a senior housing facility, a campus YMCA and a professional office building. Groundbreaking for Greentree Health Science Academy, a collaboration with Butler Technology and Career Development Schools, Miami University, Middletown Regional Hospital and Warren County Career Center will occur after the campus opens.

Premier intends to adopt its visual identity throughout 2007, with conversion of signage expected to be complete by year-end 2008.
