MVH's Vanessa Sandarusi named 40 under 40 award winner by the Dayton Business Journal
Dayton, Ohio — Vanessa Sandarusi, MHSA, MBA, OT/L, administrative director of The Rehabilitation Institute of Ohio, Neuroscience Centers and Occupational Medicine at Miami Valley Hospital, has been named a 40 Under 40 award winner by the Dayton Business Journal. In its ninth year, the 40 Under 40 awards program recognizes rising young business and political leaders in the Dayton area. Award winners are selected for their business leadership, career accomplishments and community involvement.
Sandarusi came to Miami Valley Hospital as an administrative fellow in 2000 and now has administrative responsibility for all inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services at MVH as well as the Sports Medicine Center, Pain Services, Occupational Medicine and the Department of Psychology.
Sandarusi is closely involved with the United Way Campaign at MVH, serving as co-chair in 2003 and chair in 2004. She is a member of the United Way Young Leaders Circle and a participant in the Junior Achievement Program. She also works closely with the University of Dayton to provide support to students in the pre-physical therapy program.
Sandarusi earned her bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from The Ohio State University and both a master's of health services administration and masters of business administration from Xavier University.
Sandarusi is a resident of Centerville.
