The following services and amenities are available on the Miami Valley Hospital (MVH) campus for your convenience.
ATMs
There are ATMs near the hospital main elevator for three banks: Universal 1 Credit Union, Chase Bank, and National City Bank. There is a Universal 1 ATM in the Berry Women’s Health Pavilion rotunda.
Dining and Vending
MVH offers several food and beverage options for visitors.
Rubicon Place
Rubicon Place offers a variety of entrées, sandwiches, salads, drinks, and more. It is located on the ground floor of the Main Hospital (from main elevator, exit right). Open daily from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and 1:45 a.m. to 3:45 a.m.
Magnolia Place
Magnolia Place offers a variety of main entrées, made-to-order sandwiches and wraps, salads, and dessert selections, along with a wonderful view of the city of Dayton. Located on the 6th Floor, Northwest Wing (use main or Apple Street elevator). Open Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Valley Café
Valley Café is a food court concept that offers a variety of healthy meal selections. Located on the first floor, near the main entrance. Open daily, 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (closed holidays).
Choices include:
Kobricks Coffee
Kobricks serves specialty brewed coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, fruit smoothies, and pastries.
Sunset Strips
Sunset Strips offers a variety of healthier choices including made-to-order chicken sandwiches, turkey burgers, chicken tenders, and baked fries.
Ancho Grill
The theme here is Mexican, with made-to-order burritos, tacos, and chips.
Crustano’s Sandwich Crafters
Crustano’s serves made-to-order sandwiches, salads, and soups.
Bonici Italian Eatery
Bonici offers individual-size pizza, grab ‘n’ go sandwiches and salads, and a variety of beverages and snacks. Located on the first floor by the Emergency Trauma Center. Open daily 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (closed holidays).
Vending
There are vending options available 24 hours a day in numerous locations: the Emergency Trauma Center on the first floor of the South Tower, the second floor of the main hospital in the Catheterization Lab waiting area, the Coronary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the second floor, and directly above the Coronary ICU on the third floor of the Northwest Wing. Visitors may also use the vending areas located in the Surgery Center and Intensive Care Unit, 6 South Surgery, and 6 South Advanced units, all located in the South Tower.
Wireless Internet Access
Free wireless Internet access is available in all publicly accessible areas of the hospital, including patient rooms.
Gift Shops
Miami Valley Hospital Gift Shop
The MVH Gift Shop, located in the main lobby on the first floor of MVH, stocks fresh and silk flowers and a selection of other gifts to express get-well wishes. For your convenience, gifts may be ordered by phone at 937-208-2705. Your gift will be hand-delivered by hospital volunteers.
The MVH Gift Shop accepts cash and MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover cards. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. (closed holidays).
Because the gift shop is staffed primarily by volunteers, it may not always be open during posted hours.
Berry Women’s Health Pavilion Gift Shop
The Berry Women’s Health Pavilion Gift Shop is located in the rotunda of the Berry Women’s Health Pavilion. The gift shop is geared toward new mothers and babies, but stocks a wide selection of gift items as well. Items may be ordered by calling 937-208-2765 and are hand-delivered by hospital volunteers.
The gift shop accepts cash and MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover cards.
The Berry Gift Shop is usually open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The shop is closed weekends and holidays. Because the shop is staffed primarily by volunteers, it may not always be open during posted hours.
