A Legacy of Commitment
More than 17 years ago, Miami Valley Hospital (MVH) formally acknowledged its commitment to diversity by establishing a diversity committee. Since then, we’ve made diversity education a long-term strategy that is integral to our organization’s mission, vision, and values.

- Implemented standardized means to collect race of our patients to measure quality of care
