Local Area Information
Southwest Ohio is a wonderful place to visit—but also convenient and affordable when you are here to support a loved one going through treatment. In addition to the larger metropolitan areas of Dayton and Cincinnati, southwest Ohio offers a collection of smaller communities—some voted in the top American towns—each with a flavor of its own.
The following information offers patients and visitors options for long- or short-term stays, including dining, hotels, shopping, and entertainment.
Dining and Hotels
Regional dining is as varied as the shopping. Local, regional, and national restaurants from fast food to fine dining as well as specialty eateries are plentiful. An array of cuisines will satisfy any palette and pocketbook. The restaurant landscape includes the award-winning l’Auberge (French and American cuisine), the regionally recognized El Meson (authentic Latin cuisine), and the historic Golden Lamb (a restaurant inside Ohio’s oldest inn). Fine Italian, Indian, Eastern European, South American, Asian, and American cooking styles can be found throughout the region.
