Miami Valley Hospital Announces New Medical Staff Leadership

DAYTON, Ohio, June 18, 2008 – James Pacenta, MD, is the new chief of staff at Miami Valley Hospital.  He succeeds Christopher Danis, MD, who recently completed a two-year term.

Dr. Pacenta has been chief of staff-elect and a member of the MVH Board of Trustees for the past two years.  A fellow of the American College of Cardiology, he is medical director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at MVH.

Dr. Pancenta joined the Miami Valley Hospital medical staff in 1985. He is a cardiologist with Miami Valley Cardiologists, Inc., located in Dayton.

Scott Hadaway, MD, is the new chief of staff-elect. Dr. Hadaway joined the Department of Anesthesia in 1997. A former chair of the department, he is currently medical director of Anesthesiology at MVH.
