The Pastoral Counseling Center of Miami Valley Hospital is supervised under the direction of the division of Behavioral Services and is a service of the Department of Pastoral Care and Counseling.
Ric McAllister, Director of Behavioral Services
Ric McAllister joined Miami Valley Hospital (MVH) in 2004. Ric is a Board-Certified Diplomat in Clinical Social Work with qualifications from the Academy of Certified Social Workers. He also holds the title of Director of Behavioral Services for Good Samaritan Hospital and Premier Health.
Susan McKinney, Manager of Pastoral Care and Counseling
Susan McKinney has been with department since 1996. She served as the administrative supervisor for the department until 2010 when she was promoted to manager of Pastoral Care and Pastoral Counseling. In her role Susan is responsible for the financial and business management of the program.
Steven A. Ingram, D.Min.,PC, Pastoral Counselor
Steven Ingram has been with the department since 1996. He serves as a psychotherapist for Pastoral Counseling, a staff Chaplain , and the Pastoral Educator. He is an ordained Presbyterian Minister, holding a Doctorate of Ministry degree and is licensed as both a social worker and as a professional clinical counselor. Dr. Ingram is a fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and a member of the American Academy of Psychotherapists.
His areas of competency and interest include individual and couples counseling, grief therapy, conflict management, parenting and therapy with adolescents and children. He also is experienced in group counseling and workshops and training.
