Miami Valley Hospital Offers Free Health Program
DAYTON, OHIO (April 7, 2009) — When your joints aren’t jumping like they used to, it might be a signal to seek medical advice.
Members of the Miami Valley Hospital Mall Walkers Club at the Mall at Fairfield Commons will be able to do just that during an upcoming free health seminar Fri., April 10 at 8:45 a.m. The program will be held in the mall food court and is open to the public.
Matthew Lawless, MD an orthopedic surgeon on staff at Miami Valley Hospital and an associate with the Wright State Orthopedics & Sports Medicine group, will be the featured speaker.
If you are not a member of the Mall Walkers Club yet you can still join. Anyone age 18 or older can become a member. Go to your computer and click on www.mvh.org/mallwalkers or stop at the information desk at Fairfield Commons. There is no cost to join. Members receive a free membership bag, pedometer, walking journal and a Fairfield Mall shopping pass.
Free monthly health programs are offered the second Friday of each month along with heath screenings and healthy snacks for members.
