Elizabeth Presher: A Family Affair

When Elizabeth Presher first started thinking about starting a family, she thought she wanted to look into natural childbirth. When she became pregnant with her first child, she researched Family Beginnings at Miami Valley Hospital and knew it was the way she wanted to deliver.

She appreciated the independence allowed at Family Beginnings and the ‘amazing’ nurses. The childbirth classes were especially helpful because Elizabeth and her husband knew exactly what to expect when they arrived at the hospital. She knew if her birthing plans changed or if her baby was in distress, everything she and her baby needed was just yards away on the labor and delivery unit.

At Family Beginnings, immediate and extended family is welcome to attend the birth. Elizabeth had her mother, sisters, mother-in-law and sister-in-law and husband near her during labor and delivery.
