Free Robotic Surgery Seminar Scheduled
Dayton, Ohio (January 27, 2010) – Miami Valley Hospital South located on Wilmington Pike south of 675 in Centerville, will present a free seminar for women interested in learning about the benefits of robotic surgery. The presentation is set for 7 p.m., Tuesday, February 2. Featured speaker is Dr. Andre Harris who uses the hospital's robotic surgical systems for gynecological surgery.
Attendees will learn first hand how robotic surgery can be performed with an incision the size of a dime. By using the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System® doctors can perform surgeries using smaller incisions so procedures are less invasive and may lead to shorter hospital stays and a quicker return to normal activity.
Those interested in attending this free informative seminar are encouraged to register for the event by calling 877-MVH-HLTH.
Miami Valley Hospital was the first to bring robotic surgery to the Dayton area.
