Sports Medicine Team
Bellbrook-Sugarcreek athletics and our teams finished the 2011-2012 on a high note by re-capturing the SWBL All-Sports Championship title for the 2011-2012 school year. We stumbled the previous year finishing 2nd, but rebounded last year to win the trophy outright for the 19th time since entering the league in 1975. With solid finishes from all of our teams in league standings, and with Championships in Boys and Girls Soccer, Girls Cross Country, Girls Basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Boys Tennis the program finished strong with 13pts ahead of our closest league rival. Our programs had many team and individual accomplishments as well highlighted with a DivII State Championship in wrestling at the 106lbs weight class, a District/Regional Championship and State Final Four appearance by the Girls Basketball team, a fourth place finish by our Boys Tennis team in doubles, and our Girls Cross Country team qualifying as a team for the State Championships. The athletic department has high hopes for all their teams as they enter the 2012-2013 sport seasons, and as they continue to strive for excellence in athletics, in the classroom, and in the community! “Pride in Academics & Pride in Athletics”.
The Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Schools takes pride in the partnership that has been developed over the past four years with Miami Valley Hospital and the MVH Sports Medicine Center. The care, service, and treatment our student athletes, band members, students, and staff receive has been first class. We look forward to this relationship continuing to grow in the future.

Meet the Bellbrook High School Sports Medicine Team
She’s originally from Michigan and came to the Buckeye state to attend Miami University. Angela began as an education major but exposure to athletic training caught her attention. In the middle of her freshman year she changed majors to athletic training with a minor in coaching. In high school Angela played basketball and softball.
Angela was a student trainer at Miami for field hockey, tennis, cross country, track, baseball, football and basketball. These days Angela is the head athletic trainer at Bellbrook High School. Angela highly recommends the field of athletic training. “It’s a great job. I see lots of different things every day and every day it’s something new.”
