Free Health Talk on Keeping a Health Back
(Dayton, OH) June 3, 2010 – Our back is one part of our body which is easy to take for granted. When it is working as it should there is no real need to consider it but when it develops painful problems it can cloud everything else in our life.
Learn how to keep your back healthy by attending the next Mall Walkers Club health event set for Friday, June 11 at the Mall at Fairfield Commons in Beavercreek.
Featured speaker is physical therapist Robin Corey who is affiliated with Miami Valley Hospital’s inpatient rehabilitation program where she serves as clinical therapy and program manager. Corey will address back pain and provide tips on how to maintain a healthy back. The free event begins at 8:45 a.m. in the Center Court on the lower level of the mall. Healthy snacks will be served and free health screenings offered.
You do not need to be a member of the Mall Walkers club to attend the health talks, but if you would like to join you can do so. Membership is free and is open to anyone 18 or older. Register online or stop by the information desk at Fairfield Commons. When you sign up you will receive a membership bag filled with a pedometer, walking journal and a mall shopping pass.
The Mall at Fairfield Commons is open to walkers Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until closing and Sunday 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
