Quality Outcomes
The Cancer Program at Miami Valley Hospital has a long history of providing advanced cancer care with good outcomes.
Our level of excellence is measured, reviewed, and compared to national benchmarks by the MVH Cancer Committee. The Cancer Committee is a multidisciplinary team of cancer clinicians that reviews clinical and quality outcomes related to cancer care.
The American College of Surgeons (ACS) Commission on Cancer has established standards. Cancer programs can voluntarily have the program surveyed and reviewed triennially. MVH’s commitment to high standards of care is evidenced by our cancer program’s continuous approval by the ACS’s Commission on Cancer since 1965.
