Clemens Cycle for Cancer Registration Now Open
DAYTON, OH (March 30, 2011) - Registration is now open for the Clemens Cycle for Cancer destination bike ride coordinated through the Miami Valley Hospital Foundation.
The fundraiser is set for Saturday, June 18 and will kick off at Miami Valley Hospital South located at the intersection of Wilmington Pike and Clyo Road in Centerville. Check-in begins at 7 a.m. with the ride getting underway at 8 a.m.
Experienced and novice cyclists from the region are invited to participate and to help raise dollars to support outreach activities, cancer screenings and diagnostic testing for the uninsured and underinsured. Joining riders this year will be Brian Davis, chief meteorologists for WDTN-TV.
Cyclists can choose a range of ride distances from 10 to 50 miles, all with scenic views.

The Clemens Cycle for Cancer event celebrates the inspiration and memory of those who have fought, continue to fight or have lost the courageous battle against cancer, including Richard and Nancy Clemens for whom the event is named.
This is the third year Miami Valley Hospital South has hosted the event.
