CareFlight On the Road
On the Road is an outreach program developed by CareFlight Air and Mobile Services in conjunction with the Trauma Program at Miami Valley Hospital. The program travels to different counties to provide relevant education for EMS and pre-hospital care providers. Participants generally receive 6-8 continuing education hours related to a variety of trauma topics. In addition, a trauma surgeon from Miami Valley Hospital’s Level I Trauma Program leads a Trauma Case Review, which features actual trauma cases transported from the host county to Miami Valley Hospital to further enhance their educational experience.
The "On the Road" program will be presented at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, Ohio on April 17, 2010.
