Education and Professional Development

Miami Valley Hospital (MVH) nurses are provided with many opportunities to enhance their professional growth and development. MVH nurses are offered a generous tuition assistance program, orientation programs, a work study program for RN licensure, and an on-site Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree completion program in affiliation with the Wright State University-Miami Valley College of Nursing and Health. There is support for specialty certification for MVH nurses through study groups, review classes, and certification fee reimbursement.

A variety of continuing education offerings are available, including some open to the nursing community.
