Gynecologic Oncology
Miami Valley Hospital (MVH) Gynecologic Oncology Center is an outpatient unit staffed by board-certified gynecologists, oncology-certified registered nurses, resident physicians, and a nurse practitioner. As an MVH nurse assigned to the center you will assist with diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of women who have suspected or known cancers of the female genital organs. Our MVH gynecologic oncology patients receive comprehensive care including chemotherapy, radiation therpy referrals, preoperative teaching, surgery, follow up care, social services, and dietary consults. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
