Intensive Care Unit
Miami Valley Hospital (MVH) nurses assigned to the MVH Intensive Care Unit (ICU) will provide medical, surgical, trauma and neurological intensive care for all high acuity patients.
MVH Intensive Care Unit Details
Number of Beds: 41 beds.
Shift Options: Eight and 12 hour shifts. Shift times are subject to change at the discretion of the Manager or Director at any time.
Orientation Classes: During orientation you will complete computer based education modules from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), ICU specific classes, and precepted clinical hours.
Unique Features: The ICU is a high quality unit. It is a fast paced environment with high acuity patients. Leadership design includes clinical educators. You will undergo an individualized orientation program.
Experience/Certifications: ICU experience preferred. Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) preferred upon hire but will provide.
Dress Code: Professional scrubs. Details provided upon hire.
