Maternity Service
Unit Description: Miami Valley Hospital (MVH) nurses assigned to MVH Maternity Service will provide patient care and education in antepartum and postpartum gynecology (GYN) care.
MVH Maternity Service Unit Details
Number of Beds: 16 beds.
Shift Options: 8 and 12 hour shifts. Shift times are subject to change at the discretion of the Manager or Director at any time.
Orientation Classes: You will need to take MVH and unit orientation.
Experience/Certifications: Fetal monitoring, antepartum and GYN experience. Post-partum, NRP, and unit based competency.
Dress Code: Professional scrubs. Details upon hire.
Unique Features: Level 3 High Risk. Mother and baby facility.
